HIV Treatment Services Now Available in Martin and Okeechobee Counties

Martin County, FL – Expanding its comprehensive treatment program for HIV/AIDS, the Florida Department of Health is now offering services in Martin and Okeechobee counties.

Recently earning an HIV Specialist certification from the American Academy of HIV Medicine, Dr. Mary Ann Cabrera is now providing treatment services in Stuart, Indiantown and Okeechobee. Dr. Cabrera is fluent in both English and Spanish and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH).

Dr. Cabrera joined the Florida Department of Health in 2008, working in St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Martin and now Okeechobee county.

Early access to care optimizes health outcomes for people living with HIV. New medications, treatment options and support help provide a healthier life for HIV patients.
