Tanning Facilities

Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee County, Environmental Health

We are given authority under Chapter 64E-17, Florida Administrative Code and Section 381.89, Florida Statutes to inspect and permit all tanning facilities. Facilities are inspected twice per year to verify their safe and sanitary operation.

The Department maintains inspection data for tanning facilities.
