The Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee County (DOH-Okeechobee) provides quality and individualized health care services to the community at an affordable rate. These services are provided by highly qualified and experienced family practice doctors, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, nurses, nutritionists, and case managers.

The clinic is supervised by a physician and staffed by a part-time advanced practice registered nurse, registered nurse, and a licensed practical nurse. We have two certified Spanish interpreters to provide assistance with medical issues.
Each client must provide income documentation and go through the eligibility process. For clients established elsewhere, a record release must be signed by client and reviewed by provider before receiving care.
We offer discounted rates for uninsured and underinsured patients who meet the eligibility requirements. Services will not be denied due to inability to pay.
Eligibility Requirements
Fees for service are based on income and family size on a sliding fee scale. All clients, regardless of income are required to pay full cost for certain services, such as Vital Statistics or International Travel Immunizations. Fee schedule is available upon request.
Be sure to bring the following with you to your appointment:
- Drivers License or Valid Identification (ID)
- Proof of Income (Last 4 paycheck stubs)
- Medicaid Card
