The Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee County goes beyond just individual care. We focus on the overall well-being of our entire community. We provide comprehensive primary care for everyone ages 13 and up. Services include physicals, management and treatment of chronic disease (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, thyroid conditions), health education and counseling, referrals for specialty care, and treatment of minor acute illness such as colds and flu.
Same day appointments are available. Call 863-462-5800 to schedule your visit or discuss cost and payment options. Most services are offered at low to no cost, and we accept Medicare and self-pay. No one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
